Oregon’s lava fields grow feldspar with genuine copper suspended inside — tilt it and the stone flashes like low sun on water, a glitter the trade calls aventurescence. The sagas tell of a sólarsteinn that found the sun through storm for Norse navigators. This one just carries the weather with it.
