01 — The Land
A state written in stone.
In 1849, gold pulled the world toward the Sierra Nevada. South of there, in the Pala hills above San Diego, miners drew out pink tourmaline so fine it crossed the Pacific — and became a treasure of China's Empress Dowager Cixi. California's fate has always been bound to what lies beneath it.
02 — The Hour
Named for a time of day.
We are named for a time of day, not a place in the sky. Dusk is when the day loosens its grip — the hour of the last stretch, the first quiet. A relic is what the earth leaves behind when it has taken its time. We string one to the other.
03 — The Stones
Picked as specimens, not as stock.
Every stone is chosen the way a collection is built: for what it is, not for how evenly it matches the one beside it. Inclusions, veils and colour zoning stay where the earth left them.

04 — The Hands
Cut by hand, strung by hand.
No dye, no resin. Stones are picked one by one, cut one by one, and strung by hand in the old workshops of the Los Angeles jewelry district — prepared the way a specimen is, not a product.
05 — The Number
The first hundred never left.
The first hundred numbers — N° 0001 to 0100 — never left the house. They are our archive: the pieces we keep, study, and measure everything else against. Public numbering begins at N° 0101.
